My approach is to catch the genuine parts: the quiet glances, the joyful tears, and all the in-between moments that make the day yours. I blend into the celebration and let it unfold.

That said, the family portraits and the key moments you have been picturing all year still get made. Documentary does not mean leaving things to chance.
